Asphalt raking / laborer experience is preferred, but we will consider anyone for the position who is willing to work hard, listen, and grow with our team.
- Typical hours are 7am-5pm during the asphalt season. Asphalt season is approximately April 1 - December 1. We work until the job is completed each day, so you must be okay with overtime. Our asphalt crew members tend to show up between 630 and 645AM each morning to ensure that their equipment is prepared for the day.
Education / Experience:
Asphalt raking experience is preferred, but not required. A valid Drivers License is also preferred. Asphalt crew members may be asked to drive company pick-up trucks hauling equipment depending on their experience and comfort level.
Seasonal Salesperson (part-time or full-time)
Description & Responsibilities:
- We're looking for a salesperson or two to aid us in the day-to-day operations of selling and managing asphalt projects. Initial tasks would include reaching out to residential leads (driveways) to collect information and create draft estimates, sending emails and calling on new business opportunities, following up with existing residential and commercial accounts in our database, and assisting in any other areas in the sales process that are applicable.
- Our goal would be for this position to grow from sales support into a full-time sales role during the asphalt season. Our ideal candidate would be someone who is okay with picking up the phone and following up with leads, and who wants to aggressively pursue new business. Compensation structure would be flexible, and mostly based on performance. We generate dozens of leads per week for residential and commercial asphalt projects, so our sales people rarely communicate with clients who aren't expecting it. Cold-calling is very rare.
- Hours would be M-F from 8am-4pm. Compensation structure is negotiable.
Education / Experience:
Sales or sales support experience is preferred. Must be able to navigate our software efficiently (it's very simple) in order to reach out to leads and follow-up with outstanding estimates. A vehicle and valid Drivers License is required. You will occasionally be asked to drive to properties to take pictures and measurements for estimates. Office staff are compensated for fuel and travel when driving to estimate properties.
