You know your house needs insulation, or better insulation. It's possible you have areas where the fiberglas insulation has gotten wet. That's no good! It needs to be pulled out completely, then have the area spray foamed. There will definitely be a big difference in warmth, sound, and comfort. Spray foam can fill in cracks and corners that rolled insulation just can't be put down. Therefore more spaces are coated preventing air from seeping in.
