We're doing our monthly drive-thru food drive this Saturday. It's the second Saturday this month (July 13th) because of the July 4th holiday. Information below.

Rotary Club’s Next Drive-thru Food Drive is July 13

The Rotary Club of Pittsford’s next drive-thru food drive is scheduled Saturday (July 13) from 9 am to noon at the Pittsford Sutherland High School bus loop. In addition to the Pittsford Food Cupboard, donations also will support the Rochester Deaf Kitchen and the Nazareth University Oak Tree Food Pantry. Rotarians will be collecting at the drive rain or shine.

The Pittsford Food Cupboard plays a crucial role in addressing food insecurity within our community. Donations help ensure that local families have access to essential food items and will promote well-being and stability. See the cupboard’s list of current needs.

Rochester Deaf Kitchen is a local food pantry program serving Rochester’s deaf community. The pantry is on the campus of the Rochester School for the Deaf.

The Oak Tree Pantry serves those with food insecurity in the Nazareth community. The pantry has an ongoing need for granola bars, pasta, peanut butter, soap and other hygiene products.

The drive also will collect donations of gently used, current magazines for distribution to area human service organizations.

Because of the July 4th holiday, this month’s drive is the second Saturday of the month instead of the usual first Saturday. The August drive is August 3.  Additional information is available at pittsfordrotaryclub.org.
