Find a Contractor

This section is devoted to helping you, the customer, find a quality contractor in the Rochester, NY area at a fair price that will give you a fair estimate, call you back when he says he will, show up when he says he will, and complete the contracted work required in a timely and very professional manner.

Please use these contractors and e-mail me with your comments on their performance. Also, please be advised that these companies do pay a fee to be listed in our service guide.

As always, we recommend for you to obtain at least three estimates from contractors for all projects

Please note these contractors are listed under counties in the Rochester, New York area. However, if you are outside of Monroe County and a business isn't listed in your county, check out the businesses in 'Monroe County' and give them a call. Chances are they do contract work outside the county.

I strongly urge you to ask all contractors before you hire them if they aspire and conform to the following code of ethics. Print this out and work from it as you talk to perspective service providers about home repair and improvement projects, no matter how small.

We always provide a written proposal stating specifically the work to be done, the materials to be used, how it will be performed and the total cost. An estimated start and completion date is also provided.

We complete all projects in accordance with any and all standard industry practices.

All work we do meets or exceeds all local and national building codes.

Our work is done in accordance with all applicable safety procedures, and with the utmost consideration for environmental consequences.

We take pride in our work, and stand behind it. We take responsibility for everything contained in our warranties, and endeavor to fix any problems which arise promptly.

We treat our customers in a respectful and professional manner. This includes timely call-backs, keeping of appointments and fulfilling all promises made.

We protect the customer's property from damage during the course of all jobs, and we leave the work site as clean as we found it.

We do everything we can to complete all work within a reasonable time. Any downtime has specific explanations, and is agreed upon in advance with the customer.

We treat all of our suppliers fairly, and pay them in a timely manner as agreed.
