RECIPE

 

We got this recipe from Erika at Living Well Mom.com   Wanted to share.

We found it online and have no affiliation with them but thank you, we've tried this and it's delicious, however we did add cheese making it even better for our liking!

Prep time 30 minutes, cook time 1 hour 20 minutes, 

INGREDIENTS;

6 tablespoon of butter - divided

1/4 cup flour

1 tsp. dried parsley flakes

1 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. dried thyme

1/4 tsp. pepper

1-2 tsp. minced onion

3 cups milk

6 cups thinly sliced potatoes (apx. 5 med-large)

1.5 cup cooked ham, chopped.

INSTRUCTIONS;

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2. In a saucepan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter, stir in flour, parsley, salt, thyme, pepper & minced onion until smooth. Gradually add milk and bring to a boil over medium heat. Whisk to keep smooth. Cook & stir for 2 minutes.

3. In a greased 2.5 quart casserole dish, layer potatoes and ham with sauce spooned over. Repeat layers (3-4 layers). Top with remaining sauce.

4. Cover and bake for 65-75 minutes or until potatoes are almost tender. Dot with remaining butter and bake uncovered for additional 15-20 minutes or until potatoes are fully tender.

Oven cleaner (Thanks Caller Ken!)

Magic cleaner formula

2 oz. Dawn

4 oz. Bottle Lemon Juice

8 oz. White Vinegar

10 oz. Water

Spray on oven or shower, let sit overnight and then wipe with cloth.

No heat needed.

(we haven't tried this, but Ken swears by it!)

During this real estate market debacle, homebuyers are under a lot of pressure to up their ante and waive every contingency. Who does that benefit?
