Starting off with thanking all of you for listening to the Home Repair Clinic and reading our newsletter. Best wishes for a safe and happy December and of course, Christmas! Hope you will be spending the holidays with family and friends. As adults it's not about the gifts but the people.

What is your favorite holiday cocktail, either alcohol, or non-alcohol?  Egg nog is delicious and there are a lot of recipes online. Check them out! Sometimes just making up your own is fun maybe with wine and ginger ale, add some fruit then you have a sangria!

As you are busy all month with shopping, wrapping, cooking, along with work and normal running around try to remember to schedule time to relax and take care of yourself. No point in running yourself to exhaustion and chance getting sick, then not being able to enjoy all you did!

Did you know? The Home Repair Clinic with Jim Salmon (now with John Welch as co-host) has been on the radio for 36 years? Believe it or not, it started out as a half hour show, over the years Saturday grew to 6:00 am - 10:00 am and Sunday was added 9:00 am - 11:00 am. When it began, if Jim was asked if he would do this show every Saturday & Sunday for 36 years do you think he would say 'yes'?  He rarely has missed a show, if so, it was for unavoidable reasons.
